Job Description

Takes diagnostic radiographs utilizing digital radiography and CR/PACS system; performs related administrative work as a radiologic technologist at Schiffert Health Center (SHC). Oversees the maintenance, calibration and safety of SHC radiologic equipment.

Required Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited program of radiologic technology with currentARRT certification in radiologic technology and full state licensure.|Previous experience performing radiologic procedures with digital radiography techniques. Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the application of principles, procedures and techniques for the operation of radiologic equipment including accurate positioning, correct image for computer radiography. Demonstrated knowledge of radiation and related electrical safety procedures. Previous administrative experience maintaining / updating medical records. Demonstrated experience with computer skills including word processing and data entry using Microsoft Office or similar programs in a professional setting. Ability to work independently.Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain successful and effective relationships with diverse, multicultural student and staff population.|

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience operating radiologic equipment in a medical and/or academic healthcare setting.
