Cluster Manager, SLC Cluster (Linde Gas North America, LLC, North Salt Lake, UT - Full time): Responsible for supervision of operations team to conduct safe, reliable & efficient operation of the SMR plant at Salt Lake City, UT.

Requirments: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering or related plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered, as a HyCo Operations Manager, Associate Engineer, or related. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering or related field of study, plus 3 years of experience. Any suitable combo of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must have 5 years of progressively responsible experience with all of the following: Chemical plant process eqpmt for continuous processes; Analytical & technical skills to troubleshoot chemical process issues; Utilize expertise in the Hydrogen Carbon Monoxide ("HyCO") or Steam Methane Reformer ("SMR") plant process to maintain & improve plant operation to ensure maximum productivity & profitability; Detailed console operation knowledge, base controls, alarms & responses; Utilize Microsoft Project/ Prima Vera (scheduling software) for efficient planning of multifaceted & complex projects; Maintenance & reliability industry best practices, downtime reporting, root cause analysis on failures, QA/QC process for repair activities; Procurement process & systems, contractor qualification process, cost effectiveness review, bidding process, contract review & negotiation, & labor relations; Strong knowledge of work permit systems, energy isolation methods, lock out tag out implementation, management of change; Environmental compliance knowledge of both federal & state rules & limits; Siemens PCS7 Control System software, PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), DCS (Direct Control System), & HMI (Human Machine Interface) operation & troubleshooting; Conduct Safety Validation of Controls Systems; Plant operations knowledge in HAZOP reviews; & Plant operations & controls knowledge in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests).
