Lecturer (French)

Utah State University, Department of Languages, Philosophy & Communication Studies.

This Lecturer (French) position is located in Logan, Utah, which is situated in a spectacular Rocky Mountain valley approximately one and one-half hour drive north of Salt Lake City.

Candidates must have:

• An M.A. in French or French Linguistics;
• Native or near-native proficiency in French and native or near-native proficiency in English;
• Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching French language courses;
• Satisfactory background check per university policy.
• Required teaching skills may be acquired during advanced educational studies.

Successful candidate for this entry-level position will:

• Teach French language classes;
• Advise and mentor students;
• Serve on departmental committees as needed;
• Work with student French club.
