Operations Manager
Description

  

The Operations Manager is to ensure that a safe, productive and an environmentally compliant facility and grounds exists for his/her employees, customers, and suppliers. He/she will have oversight of day-to-day functions to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly customer commitments and company revenue/profitability targets are achieved. He/she will create and execute annual goals and objectives that support Noble’s overall goals for safety, quality, revenue, profitability, etc.  

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Provides day-to-day management over casing employees.
  2. Assists in identification and/or resolves identifiable operational and customer issues and inefficiencies as required.
  3. Performs a daily walk-through of the facility and grounds to ensure safety, quality and efficiency philosophies are being continually adhered to.
  4. Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and operational metrics to ensure adequate utilization of all company assets (i.e., personnel, equipment, and facility) is maintained.
  5. Oversee employee hours and provide written (i.e., email) reports to District Manager. 
  6. Oversees the process for efficiently scheduling employees and equipment according to customer and Field Superintendent requests.
  7. Resolves customer concerns in a professional and timely manner (initial response within 24 hours of notification).
  8. Maintains working knowledge of services, sites, regulations, etc.
  9. Provides guidance and direction in resolving employee issues and concerns and consults with the District Manager regarding unresolved disciplinary and/or performance concerns as required.
  10. Oversees completion of BOL’S (signatures) and Field Tickets, and ensures all tickets are signed within 24 hours.
  11. Enters customer requests, generate reports, etc. and provides written verification (i.e., email) to the District Manager as required.
  12. Coordinates processes involved with scheduling equipment and vehicles for maintenance and use with Shop Foreman. 
  13. Stays abreast of all local, state and federal safety and environmental regulations.

Secondary Responsibilities

1. Continuously look at methods to reduce ongoing operational costs. Set and monitor annual goals.

2. Adheres to proper Noble reporting procedures.

3. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  •  Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience (i.e., oilfield experience preferred)
  • Valid Class “A” Driver’s License with Clean Driver’s Abstract is preferred.
  • Min. of 3 years of experience in working with an Asset Management System/Software is desired.
  • Spanish speaking is highly desired.
