Nursing Assistant Training

We require that new hires work on the floor as Sunshine aides for a period of time before attending class. Sunshine aides assist with making beds, answering call lights and other basic duties. This period allows the new hire to experience and observe the basics of the job of a CNA as well as to meet our residents and staff. After successfully completeing this Sunshine period, Sunrise will cover the cost of the CNA course for new hires.

Available Positions
 
Assistant Director of Nursing (RN):​​​​​​

The ADON will assist the DON with administration of the nursing department including daily functions, activities, orientation and education of the nursing staff and in monitoring and directing the care for the residents, keeping them at the highest level of physical, mental and psychosocial status possible. The ADON will maintain a primary focus on staff development as well as oversight of the infection control practices of the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing will also be responsible for acting as a positive role model and leader in support of the mission, vision and values of Sunrise Country Manor.

Certified Nursing Assistant (Will Train!):

  • Weekend Day/Evening Shifts  (Day shift starting at $23/hr & Evening shift starting at $26/hr)

  • Full Time Night Shift (10 pm to 6:30 am)

  • Day Shift (6 am to 2:30 pm)

  • Evening Shift (2 pm to 10:30 pm)

  • PRN (As needed) Positions (stay on our call list for open shifts)

Work as part of team to create a person-centered environment by providing quality care services to the residents in our community. Will provide training!

Medication Aide:

  • Part Time Evening Shift (2 pm to 10:30 pm)

 
Housekeeping:

  • Full Time Housekeeper (Day Shift)

  • Part Time Housekeeper (Weekends)

  • PRN (As needed) Positions (stay on our call list for open shifts)
