We currently have an exciting opportunity for nurse leaders in the role of Personal Health Services Supervisor (PHSS) in Parent and Child Health. This position is based out of King County Public Health Centers at Auburn Public Health. Public Health Centers provide patient centered services to pregnant and parenting women, infants, and children that are either co-located with reproductive health services for men, women, and teens or embedded within a community health clinic. The Personal Health Services Supervisor position is responsible for the oversight and support of multi-disciplinary teams that may include: Registered Nurses, Registered Dieticians, Community Health Workers, Nutrition Assistants, Social Workers, and Administrative Support staff. This position may also supervise other disciplines such as Interpreters and may expand their supervision to other sites. This is an opportunity to lead an amazing team whose passion is to serve individuals and families seeking nutrition, health education and care coordination services. The PHSS will have the overall responsibility for the daily supervision of the team and be a key member of the site leadership team(s), working with Program staff, other supervisors and community partners. Work schedule: WIC and Maternity Support service hours are currently Monday to Fridays from 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, so work hours would be expected within those parameters. Depending on business needs, work hours and on-site presence may be adjusted to meet Public Health Center needs. With extended clinic hours, it is an expectation that the PHSS's will work outside of the 8:00 am to 5:00 pm timeframe and there may be opportunities for select weekend support. These positions are exempt and not overtime eligible.
