An apartment complex is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the apartment complex. You will work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Duties:

• Assist with completing the maintenance of apartments to get ready for new tenants
• Handle emergency and non-emergency service requests
• Perform various maintenance activities and community inspections
• Ensure the apartment community’s overall exterior is maintained
• Monitor, control, and safeguard of all maintenance inventory and supplies
• Perform other duties as needed

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred; Trade school and/or military training is a plus
• A minimum three years of verifiable hands-on plumbing, electrical, carpeting, painting, carpentry, and HVAC experience
• Must have own tools normally used in construction, maintenance, and landscaping
• Must have valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and insurance
• Must be comfortable working outside in all types of weather with prolonged standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; ability to lift a maximum of 100 pounds with frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills is required
