D3 and S3 Technician/Laborer 

The Village of Armada is seeking a qualified, self motivated individual for the position of Department of Public Works laborer with D3 and S3 Licensing. Applicants must be a graduate of High School with a willingness to learn, have a valid driver’s license with a CDL-B w/air brake endorsement along with a clean driving record for the last five (5) years, and possess a water distribution S-3 and chemical treatment license D-3, each requiring the applicant to have the ability to do basic mathematics. Applicant will have a background check and must pass a physical and an Michigan Department of Transportation drug screen and will continue to be subject to random screening if hired. Employee will be required to be on call on a rotating basis with a maximum 15 min. response time. Job duties will include, but are not limited to, building/grounds maintenance, water/sewer system operation/maintenance, street system maintenance, traffic control, snow and ice control, painting, maintenance of all village equipment, along with working with the public.
