Hilton Head PSD Finance Manager

Hilton Head PSD, a public water, sewer and recycled water utility serving Hilton Head Island, S.C., is seeking an experienced and ethical local government financial executive to serve as its Finance Manager. The Finance Manager reports to the General Manager and supervises the Accounting and Customer Service teams. Candidates must have experience in financial management, debt management, customer service management, budget development and administration, financial policy evaluation and development, cash management and investments, information technology, general accounting, and financial reporting. Utility or local government financial experience preferred. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and audit practices is necessary. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, or a related field, and five years' experience in financial management and/or accounting is required. Possession of a Certified Public Accountant license and/or designation as a Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO) or Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) is preferred.
