Electric Chief Engineer

The Town of Wallingford Electric Division is seeking a highly qualified engineer with strong technical and leadership/management skills that will be responsible for the planning, designing, and maintenance of the electric generation, transmission, and distribution systems and related facilities of the Electric Division. Must possess a bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering, plus eight (8) years of progressively responsible engineering managerial work for electrical utilities or an engineering consulting firm doing work for electric utilities. An Associates Degree in one of these fields may substitute for two (2) years of the work experience requirement. One year of supervisory experience as a supervisor is preferred. In addition, must possess and maintain a Connecticut Motor Vehicle Operators License.

Salary: $97,203 - $124,140 plus an excellent fringe benefit package. EOE
