Internal Auditor, Downtown Albany, NY

CSEA one of New York State’s largest unions is seeking resumes for an Internal Auditor for our downtown Albany, NY headquarters. The position is under the direct supervision of the Senior Internal Auditor.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  working at the Region/Local/Unit level reviewing financial affairs, completing audits, advising about reporting obligations and acceptable reporting procedures, assisting with preparation of financial reports, assisting in developing uniform budgeting and reporting forms  and participating in treasurer  training.

Salary is $50,744

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.  Experience with accounting, auditing, and IRS reporting requirements preferred OR an acceptable combination of education, training or experience as determined by CSEA.  Candidate must possess a valid New York State driver’s license and have a car available for business use in order to be appointed.
