Job Summary | The University of Utah, David Eccles School of Business MBA program, is seeking a talented, competitive, upbeat professional to provide admissions support for prospective MBA students. The Admissions Counselor will collaborate with admissions and marketing staff on enrollment initiatives to drive matriculation growth for the MBA program through strategic outreach and relationship cultivation with corporations and professionals. The position requires extensive interaction with prospective and current students, alums, faculty, vendors, and other School and University staff. This position will also involve cross-training and support on the student experience. The ideal candidate for this position must have strong communication and project management skills, be an effective team player, enjoy creating and maintaining relationships with prospective students, and handle and complete multiple tasks. This job is considered “essential.” Therefore, it is required that the employee be on campus, in person. |
Responsibilities |
Note: This job description is not a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required of employees assigned to the job. In addition to recruiting and admissions responsibilities, the Admissions Counselor will also have the opportunity to work directly with current students and support all program needs. Additional responsibilities could include faculty support, student club oversight, and knowledge of online university systems (to be trained). Minimum Qualifications | Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years’ related experience, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). |
