Performs therapy treatments under supervision of therapist or therapist assistant. Performs light housekeeping chores, restock linen and supplies and utilize computer. Assists in managing daily schedule. Transports, directs, or assists patients to and from treatment areas. Prepares and completes paperwork for charging patients. Provides rehabilitation care for infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics based on knowledge of basic growth and development.

Education and/or experience: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. On the job training required. Previous hospital work taking care of patients preferred. CPR certification required.

Knowledge: Principles and processes for providing treatment and customer service. Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, and procedures.

Skills: Giving full attention to what other people are saying, asking questions as appropriate, not interrupting at inappropriate times. Adjusting actions in relation to others’ actions. Actively looking for ways to help people. Talking and writing in a way to convey information effectively.

Abilities: Ability to listen, read, and understand information and ideas presented through written and spoken words. Able to communicate information in speaking and writing so others will understand.
