The Sac Metro Air District, as a regional leader in protecting public health and the environment, integrates equity and environmental justice in decision-making for all air quality and climate change considerations, promotes resilience and sustainability throughout the region, and is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce.

We employ nearly 100 employees with varying backgrounds, languages, and races as air quality engineers, specialists, planners, managers, administrators, and more, who are leaders in their fields and are passionate about our region and our world.
