Position Summary/Essential Duties:

 Provides support and works on projects for Gift Planning Team and IR&D Department including:

o Investigates and provides accurate and thorough research on particular topics

o Provides analysis of basic and complex issues involving donor relations and gifting

o Supports team with documentation of gifts and commitments

 Initiates and maintains positive relationships with supporters and colleagues

 Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment

 Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values

Qualifications:
Education/Expertise:

• Bachelors Degree required and must have completed or be currently enrolled in graduate school seeking a degree in law, business or nonprofit administration.

Experience & Knowledge:

• Experience with legal research and donor databases; some health care experience preferred.

• Accurate spelling and grammar.

• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as, exhibiting strong organizational skills and work ethic.

• Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to supporters.

Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge:

• Working knowledge of legal database tools, internet search engines and donor database programs. Proficient PC skills, including MS Office products. Familiar with operation of standard office equipment.
