This is a Guaranteed Full-Time Position.

The full-time Home Instead® Care Professional role is expected to be available Monday through Friday as well as every weekend from 8am to 8pm. The Care Professional must possess the skills to help all clients with their various needs.

• Providing Personal Care services such as:
  •  Assisting with bathing
  •  Assisting with grooming
  •  Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues
• Providing Specialized services such as:
  •  Advanced Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care
  •  Hospice Care
  •  Couples Care
  •  Nurse Directed Services
  •  Specialized Equipment
  •  Special Needs
• Providing Companionship & Home Helper services such as:
  •  Companionship and conversation Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
  •  Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
  •  Providing medication reminders and appointment reminders
  •  Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)
  •  Washing and ironing laundry
  •  Running errands
  •  Accompanying clients to appointments

Requirements to be a Home Instead Care Professional

•  Ability to treat, care and communicate with seniors and their property with dignity and respect
•  Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
•  Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
•  Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
