Serves as registry eligible sonographer; will be trained and must be willing to learn and perform all aspects of echocardiography exam under medical supervision. Follows established guidelines for cleaning, storing & disinfecting equipment per Manufacturer, ODH, IAC and JCAHO standards. Participates in a learning environment, including continued development and learning of knowledge and skills. Demonstrated basic knowledge of cardiac pathology. Demonstrated basic knowledge of the fundamentals of echocardiography. Ability to learn to use all types of echo machines; basic computer skills; good communication skills.

Graduate of Accredited Program in Cardiovascular Sonography.

BLS cert required.

Achieve RDCS or RCS within 12 months.
