Southeast New Mexico College is looking to hire Adjunct Nursing Program Clinical Instructor (as needed – clinical schedules vary). As needed for fall and spring semesters. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing; faculty without a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) may be employed for one year and then are required to complete a BSN completion program OR Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program within five years. Part-time faculty without a graduate degree in nursing shall report to a master’s prepared faculty. BSN required.
A minimum of two (2) years of full-time clinical experience in medical surgical nursing or specialty area to provide clinical instruction. Current New Mexico licensure, or a compact state license, or eligibility to obtain a New Mexico license to practice as a registered nurse.

Tenure Status: Tenure Track
Required qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or higher learning in nursing. Must be willing to obtain a Master’s degree within 5 years of hire. Maintaining licensure as necessary during employment is required. Current New Mexico License, or a compact state license, or eligibility to obtain a New Mexico license to practice as a registered nurse. Two (2) years clinical experience in an acute care setting. Teaching assignments are on a nine (9) month contract and may include 15 credit hours per semester. Salary Range $61,250 to $69,300 DOE.
