DynaMed is a leading online evidence-based point-of-care medical reference. It is a rapidly growing, comprehensive clinical decision resource that provides the most current and useful synthesized evidence with the quickest time-to-answer.

 

We are seeking an Associate Managing Editor – OB/GYN.

 

AMEs are part of our highly-skilled team of methodological and clinical experts whose mission is to provide comprehensive evidence-based guidance and information to healthcare professionals at the point of care. They are leaders who continuously drive the adoption, application, and evolution of the principles of evidence-based medicine through mentorship and management of an editorial team. In conjunction with senior leadership, they are responsible for core editorial production that meets both quality and productivity standards.

 

Required qualifications:

 

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (or 4 years of relevant experience)
  • > 5 years writing experience related to medical or scientific content
  • > 3 years editing experience
  • > 1 year experience delivering training or providing feedback in a mentorship capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical appraisal and statistical skills

 

Preferred qualifications:

 

As an ideal candidate, you will have a background or interest in any of the following areas: biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, or clinical research. You also have a positive attitude, a strong commitment to quality, and enjoy mentoring others. Preferably, you have experience in management of personnel and/or projects, and experience in a multi- or inter-disciplinary environment, as well as exposure to matrix reporting.
