| Job Summary: | Candidate will provide department with secretarial, administrative and office management support. This may include but is not limited to: Answering and directing calls, visitors and/or patients. Reviewing correspondence and responding to routine inquiries. Scheduling appointments, patient registration, obtain authorizations for patient visits and ancillary services. Maintains patient records and schedules, including update of patient database. Data gathering and report compilations. Managing office work flow and office staff. Assists in department quality improvement activities. Addresses staff errors and retrains as necessary. Train new staff. Reviews encounters daily for accuracy and completion. Participates in cross training in other areas within the scope of position classification. |

| Minimum Qualifications: |
Four years of secretarial/administrative support experience, including experience in a medical practice setting or equivalent combination of education and experience required. |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
Previous patient registration and scheduling experience. |
| Work Days: |
Monday -Friday days between 8am-5pm |
