JOB DESCRIPTION

KeyTronic Oakdale, MN facility is seeking a Production Manager candidate to build and maintain customer relations. Expand revenue base by generating orders and revenue forecasts. Manage multiple customer accounts. Coordinate cross-functional resources; customer engineer, quality engineer, test engineer, planner and buyer. Resolve technical and logistic issues with the customer and factory. Provide cost quotations for customer requests. Manage inventory levels excess and obsolete.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)

  • Build and maintain customer relations, quoting, resolve technical and logistic issues with the customer and the factory.
  • Generate order and revenue forecasts.
  • Manage business relationships during new product introduction.
  • Coordinate scheduling and delivery issues, ensuring delivery of customer product.
  • Mandatory attendance at a training class regarding review of purchase orders per procedure ds1403- Purchase Order Review Procedure.
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and has customer service skills.


SUPERVISION GIVEN/RECEIVED

Is supervised by the General Manager / VP and Director of Program Management and has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree preferred and or 5 years experience in Program Management/Account Management.
  • Familiarity with MRP system.
  • ISO procedures.
  • Strong skills in Windows, Excel, and Word applications.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Good understanding of the electronic manufacturing process.
  • Ability to write, read, and speak English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IPC Certified

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, talk, hear, and see. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or reach with hands and arms. The environment is fast-paced, time pressured, and requires accuracy. The employee will regularly multi-task between projects, be required to move throughout the office building and production floor. Effectively communicate orally and written.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT The normal environment is quiet and typical of an open cubical setting with some areas that may be louder at times. The employee occasionally might be near moving mechanical parts and exposed to fumes or airborne particles on the production floor.
