The Solid Waste Division (SWD), Recycling and Environmental Services Section (RES) is inviting applications for a Project/Program Manager III to support its Green Building (GreenTools) program. The successful candidate will provide a wide range of support to move the County towards Zero Waste of Resources and a sustainable built environment integrating equity and social justice opportunities.
The desired candidate will participate in tasks associated with green building policy, implementation of sustainable development in county-owned capital projects, management of internal green building team, tracking performance measures, training, implementing the County Green Building Ordinance, helping to achieve and implement the targets and priority actions of the Strategic Climate Action Plan, ensuring our development practices achieve the goals of the Equity and Social Justice Credits, and supporting other King County sustainability programs. This is a professional position; work is conducted independently and in collaboration with other program managers and the RES Environmental Programs Managing Supervisor.
