Electrical Project Engineer, Helix Electric, SD CA. Plan, design, test, and oversee the installation of electrical equipment, components, and systems in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. Conduct computer-assisted engineering and cost estimating to improve electrical instruments. Review contract drawings, prepare specifications for electrical systems and provide technical advice. Confer with customers, engineers and field project team regarding electrical design and capabilities. Implement quality control procedures to resolve problems, maximize reliability and minimize costs. Direct electrical work at construction sites to ensure components are built correctly and safely in compliance with specifications, codes and customer requirements. Coordinate with Project Manager (PM) on issues and submit/track requests for information (RFIs) to ensure timely response. Maintain field bulletin binder to review electrical engineering changes and distribute to vendors/subcontractors. Perform cost analysis calculations, prepare schedule reports, and determine delivery time frames to ensure timely completion of projects. Conduct field and safety inspections of electrical engineering projects.

Requiress: BS in electrical or electro-mechanical engineering (foreign equivalent ok) & 24 months experience as electrical engineer in hands-on electrical construction experience.
