40840 - Solutions Architect

Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation seeks a Solutions Architect in Greeley, CO. Duties: Lead the planning and execution of assigned projects. Collaborate to identify and develop true business value opportunities, and influence the decision on priorities, roadmap, and timing of initiatives. Partner with Operations Engineers and IT peers to evaluate proposals, build cases and plan new joint initiatives. Capture business requirements regarding new solutions and improvements to existing solutions. Participate in the elaboration process of the automation strategy for Automation, considering IT/OT integration and Industry 4.0 solutions and standards. Participate in the software and hardware evaluation process. Meet with suppliers, analyze proposals, and make recommendations on the solution choices aligned with Ind. 4.0 roadmap. Document processes through process flow diagrams, flow charts, PFMEAs, Value Stream Maps etc. Active involvement in follow-up and review of the work done by vendors. Follow the financial situation of the projects and help in justifying automation projects. Identify opportunities to explore and apply technology solutions to solve problems associated with organizational key performance indicators such as Yield, OEE, Labor Efficiency, Inventory Turnover, Safety, etc. Assesses overall facilities infrastructure and recommends technological solutions and the right architecture to ensure deployment and implementation of digital transformation initiatives Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field plus 3 years of experience in a related occupation. Requires 3 years of experience with: Agricultural/meat/animal industries and familiarity with meat processing; Implementing AI/Machine Learning Project; Change Management and Process Improvement; Cross-functional Project Management 40 hours/week, $85,197 - $125,000 per year.
