Job Description
This position is responsible for providing support to the Computer Science Graduate programs and to the Department Chair and the Graduate Program Directors by performing administrative and payroll functions related to the graduate programs such as appointment of graduate assistants, assistantship payroll, coordination of tuition waivers, processing applications to the programs and collecting and maintaining graduate program data.

Considerable knowledge of effective customer service and problem-resolution techniques when serving diverse customers. Working knowledge of office practices and procedures. Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to produce documents and monitor automated processes using PC-based collaborative tools such as the Office 365 collaboration platform to include the ability to enter and manipulate data and produce reports in spreadsheet software. Ability to utilize enterprise software to gather data and carry out payroll transactions. Considerable ability at collecting, compiling and analyzing data. Ability to manage time effectively and meet multiple competing deadlines. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and make workflow decisions. Demonstrated ability to independently initiate and carry out projects. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while producing high quality and accurate work. Knowledge of payroll processes, procedures, and payroll terms including payroll frequency, pay dates, and pay periods.

Conditions of Employment

Annual Salary/Hourly Rate Salary is commensurate with education and experience and begins at $ - 31,886
