Northeast Medical Group Inc. seeks Nocturnist physicians to work at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. The Nocturnist will cover evenings & wknds providing comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients through admissions, cross coverage & discharge. Nocturnist will contact patients primary care physician about in-hospital / follow-up care; provide primary care physician hospital diagnosis; & new prescriptions / treatment. Candidates must have a valid CT physician license prior to employment commencing; M.D. or D.O. degree or certified foreign equivalent degree; completion of Internal Medicine residency program; and BE/BC in Internal Medicine.
