Schedule includes weekdays and every weekend. Must be available to work between 530am - 7pm on the weekend.

POSITION PURPOSE

  • Under the supervision of the Nutritional Services Patient Services Coordinator. Facilitates patients’ food requests using the computer system. Processes paperwork for area per established procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Remains professional and follows through with patient, nurse, RD or Coordinator for all phone calls as needed
  • Reviews patient listing, checks special services, diet orders, LDA’s and preferences; makes adjustments to patients’ files as needed
  • Generates meal tallies and maintenance reports as needed
  • Processes Epic printouts; follows through on all tray requests, supplemental orders, allergies and diet changes and makes appropriate adjustments to patients’ files
  • Enters the tube feeding order from Epic into Hospitality Suite accurately, sends correct products with labels attached appropriately

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
  • Word processing skills

  • PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Sedentary work, repetitive motion of hands, fingers and wrist
