Job Summary
The Center for English as a Second Language (ESL.uky.edu) in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky seeks applications for a Part-Time Instructor of English as a Second Language. This is a temporary, non-tenure eligible appointment for the Summer 2024 session. The period of assignment is from June 10, 2023 through August 1, 2024.
Minimum qualifications are: Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language or Graduate Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language; native or near-native fluency in English; experience and commitment to excellence in teaching. Position involves teaching one to four courses in the Intensive English Program: https://esl.as.uky.edu/intensive-english-program.
