Teacher Assistant
Responsibilities include assisting the teacher with planning and implementing learning experiences that advance the social-emotional, intellectual, and physical development of children, including their understanding of early math, literacy, and science skills. Teacher Assistants must have a minimum of a High School Diploma and a Child Development Associate (CDA) or be enrolled in a CDA program, Associate's, or Bachelor's Degree program. At least one year experience working with preschool children is preferred. Must have a satisfactory criminal background check.
Teacher

Applicant must have at least an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with experience working with children. Baccalaureate Degree Preferred. Must have a valid Driver's License, satisfactory driving record and Criminal Background Check. At least one year experience working with preschool children is preferred. Must have a satisfactory criminal background check.
Program Manager
Serves as Head Start Center Manager in Dinwiddie, Virginia. Provides oversight and monitoring of the subcontractors. Works closely with the Head Start Director, Education Coordinators, Family and Community Partnership Coordinators, Health Coordinator and Health/Disability Coordinator to ensure that the service delivery plans are reviewed, updated and implemented effectively. Baccalaureate Degree in Early Childhood or a related field with coursework in Early Childhood Education. Experience in teaching pre-school children. Must possess good written and oral communication skills. Must pursue CDL certification within one year of employment.
Fiscal Technician
Performs accounts payable/payroll functions. Verifies and enters details of transactions as they occur in accounts and cash journals from invoices, check stubs, and requisitions. Summarizes details of separate ledgers and transfers data to general ledger. Balances checkbooks, post cash receipts and expenditures, and accounts payable. Maintains fiscal and personnel files and ensures appropriate documents are maintained as required. Any combination of experience and education equivalent to an Associate’s Degree. Must be able to communicate in person, via email, and over the phone, and have strong written communication skills.
