Test Automation Engineer

IBM Corporation, Littleton, MA

Duties:

• Execute functional tests using automated testing tools for product releases.
• Review new product functionality.
• Create new scripts for product enhancements.
• Create scenarios for writing automated performance tests.
• Run performance tests and evaluate metrics to assess application performance.
• Modify and maintain test scripts to adapt to changing product functionality.
• Create test harness scripts to tie automated tests with build infrastructure.
• Coordinate and assist in planning of automation test strategies for different product components.
• Report application issues in defect tracking system and escalate any high risk areas.
• Work closely with development to track application features and defects.

Utilize:

• Cognos TM1 Product;
• Test automation tools (QTP and Selenium);
• Quality assurance process and methods;
• Agile and Scrum methodologies;
• Web application testing.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related and two (2) years of experience as a Software Test Specialist or related.
• Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Cognos TM1 Product; test automation tools (QTP and Selenium); quality assurance process and methods; Agile and Scrum methodologies; and web application testing.
