Heavy Equipment Operator

The City of Lamar is accepting applications for a Heavy Equipment Operator in Public Works. Under limited supervision, operates heavy and medium construction and maintenance equipment and large trucks for the Street and or Sanitation Department. High school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience in heavy equipment operations; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Possession of a valid Colorado Class A or B Commercial Driver's License.

Starting Salary: $15.38 - $19.22 per hour (Depending on experience).

Contingent upon job offer, the successful applicant will be required to take a pre-employment physical, drug test and provide a current motor vehicle record.
