We have an exciting opportunity for a nurse leader in the role of a Mobile Testing - Personal Health Services Supervisor with the Health Care for the Homeless Network (HCHN) COVID Teams. The HCHN COVID Teams consist of three teams who support homeless service sites and people experiencing homelessness in the prevention of and response to COVID-19 transmission across King County. Services include the Health Engagement, Action, and Response Team (HEART) focused on preventive and responsive visits to homeless service sites for supporting implementation of Public Health infection prevention protocols, Mobile Vaccinations which provides COVID, Hepatitis, and Flu vaccines to vulnerable populations and Mobile Testing providing proactive and reactive COVID-19 testing at homeless service sites and other community locations. The Mobile Testing PHSS will serve as a responsive supervisor and leader to support staff and foster community outreach and partnerships for these programs. With all HCHN services, we provide person-centered and trauma-informed services and work with continuous improvement, equity and social justice, and respect for people and staff.
This is an opportunity to lead a dynamic team whose passion is to support clients and partners in preventing the spread of COVID-19 among people experiencing homelessness and service provider staff. The position will provide supervision and/or oversight of am Assistant Personal Health Services Supervisor (APHSS), Public Health and Registered Nurses, Administrative staff and others as appropriate. It will also collaborate closely with other HCHN COVID Teams, as well as the Communicable Disease/Epidemiology section of the Prevention division of Public Health.
