Ensure accurate entry into system and timely payment of all approved invoices. Maintain accounting relationship with resort administrative support, managers, and directors as well as external vendors. Process month end procedures.
Essential Functions:
Input invoices and reconcile vendor statements
Run aging report and verify credits are valid for each vendor.
Manage email to ensure all questions have been answered and invoices processed.
Research old/outstanding invoices and Keep NWLR in good standing with all vendors.
Maintain current vendor files to include, 1099 info and terms per contract. Collect W-9s from vendors
Prepare electronic payments paperwork
Process month end. Ensuring month end accruals are posted without duplicating entered invoices.
Thorough understanding of Sales and Use Tax.
Entry level GL work and ability to read expenses flowing to GL.
Ability to communicate and explain expense information to resort managers and associates.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
1 year of experience in Accounting or Hospitality preferred.
Must be organized and maintain a pleasant demeanor on the phone.
Must be able to speak English.
