Class Description

CCBC is the college of choice for over 50,000 students and 200 businesses each year — all with unique goals, strengths and requirements. By offering a holistic learning environment that is both accepting and challenging, we meet students where they are and take them where they want to go.   We offer the region’s most expansive selection of degree, certificate and workplace certification programs at 3 campuses plus 3 convenient CCBC centers along with off-site community locations.

The part time adjunct Senior Programs Instructor teaches college level non-credit courses to students 60+ that focus on art, computers, history, politics and events, humanities and culture, languages, wellness and writing. These courses are opportunities for social and cultural enrichment and have no homework and testing requirements.

Classes are offered during the day at Catonsville, Dundalk, Essex, Owings Mills and Hunt Valley campuses along with senior centers and retirement communities throughout Baltimore County. Courses are offered primarily in-person along with some Zoom classes.

Pay rates for non-credit courses in Continuing Education are commensurate with education.
