Our Northeast Surgery Center providesanesthesia care in the outpatient ambulatory setting. The consistent goal is to provide seamless care with the surgical services team. Specialized training includes operating room procedures, phase 1 recovery, critical care CORE classes, ACLS and PALS.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs tasks related to the quality of the patient's environment, including: cleaning function of an assigned area, stocking of supplies, and the transporting of patients, supplies, specimens and equipment, garbage removal and use of floor cleaning machine.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

High School graduate or equivalent desired. Must be able to read and write.

Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise. Completes population specific competency annually on populations served as identified in scope of care and service.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS:

Clinical setting. Exposure Class I, routine or potential exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions or secretions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Medium work: standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling.

WORK CONTACT GROUP:

All services, employees, medical staff, patients, visitors, vendors, and various regulatory and professional agencies.
