The College of Engineering Technology (CET) at Ferris State University invites applicants for a tenure track position in the discipline of Welding Technology (WELT) AAS and Welding Engineering Technology (WELE) BS programs. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate-level lecture and laboratory coursework in process-oriented, “hands-on” AAS and BS degree programs. The successful candidate will have a broad background in welding processes, welding procedures, and technical problem-solving within the welding field. Coursework includes welding procedure writing, code interpretation, manual, semi-automatic and automated welding and weldment design and fabrication. This position requires the individual to develop and deliver lectures, demonstrate welding and related processes/equipment, and maintain laboratory facilities and equipment.
