The Town of Westbrook Public Work's Department Has an immediate opening for a Transfer Station Attendant. The Town of Westbrook, Public Works Department, is seeking applicants for a part-time non-Union position (24 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday), Transfer Station Attendant. This position requires strong communication and “people skills” and the ability to multitask.

Duties include: Opening and securing transfer station, routine clerical duties, maintains site to assure efficiency in dumping or removal of materials and convenience of users. Performs work tasks in the functional areas of transfer station, recycling, equipment operation and routine maintenance. The position requires a High School Diploma and working knowledge of the transfer station, recycling and solid waste operations.
