Qualifications:
◦Candidate must have a minimum of 7 years experience in education, including teaching, administration, and/or supervision
◦Provide leadership and successfully develop and maintain positive relationships with all members of the school community
◦Possesses integrity and demonstrates the ability to involve teachers and staff in the design and implementation of important decisions and policies.
◦An instructional leader who uses information, including relevant research and student data, in working with teachers to improve student learning and achievement
◦Use creative problem-solving, decision making skills, and good judgement to provide a positive learning environment for staff, students, and families
◦Is an effective communicator; someone who can establish and nurture strong lines of communication with and among teachers, students, and parents.
◦Support teachers with the implementation of effective instructional practices and curriculum aligned to the New York State Next Generation Learning Standards
◦Supervise and provide effective, targeted feedback when evaluating instructional and non-instructional staff
◦Prepare and submits the school’s budgetary requests

Compensation: A competitive salary will be established based upon the successful candidate’s educational background and experience.
