Scheduler/Dispatcher

Performs scheduling and dispatching services. Answers multi-line phone system and receives information from passengers; schedules
one-time and recurring rides among multiple drivers; assists with developing schedules for PEX and serves as backup for LRPT Scheduler; receives passenger rosters from social service agencies and develops routes to support
transportation contracts; provides general
information regarding PEX transit services;
utilizes two-way radio and computer
equipment to communicate with and provide assistance to bus drivers; re-routes existing fixed route services as necessary; assists with records maintenance; and performs related tasks as requested.
Starting salary is $32,923 to $44,816.
Special Requirements: Valid Alabama driver's license. Willingness to submit to
pre-employment drug screen and background investigation. Willingness to submit to random drug testing as required by FTA regulations.
