Material Handler - Third Shift

A manufacturing company is seeking a Material Handler to ensure all machines are set-up with material, polybags, boxes, screws, etc., including the removal of all components from previous scheduled jobs, follow instructions, and maintain a safe, clean environment.  You will work third shift.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure all machines have the correct materials, blends, and colorants
• Move finished goods from the machine after the scanning is done
• Stock the machines with materials, screws, boxes, and packing material
• Empty and clean Gaylord for each machine and return all components to their original location
• Use IQMS and work orders to determine the components needed for each machine 
• Wrap the skids before placing in warehouse and use vacuum cleaner to clean hoppers or any material container
• Mix resins, colorants, and dry resins per manufacturing recommendations
• Keep all machines and auxiliary equipment free from spilled materials
• Be back-up to mold setter 
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have previous experience in a manufacturing environment 
• Must have the ability to follow SOP, work instructions, and manufacturing recommendations
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must be able to work efficiently and safely, work independently or with minimal direction, and pay a high attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels is needed
• Operate a forklift or training will be available
• Work boots are required
