Job Summary: The Senior Research Support Specialist will provide support to the Rheumatology research laboratory by assisting the Division Chief and Staff in the implementation and coordination of research activities. Responsibilities include: Mouse colony maintenance and genotyping, research, design, and execute complex experiments; perform flow cytometry, agarose and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, western blotting, and other molecular biological techniques, analysis and immunoblotting. Duties will include euthanization of mice, handling and dissection of mouse tissues, recording, analyzing and preparing data for publication, communicating with investigators to coordinate experiments and exchange information, write reports necessary for grants and publications, and perform other administrative duties.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a scientific field required. Experience in molecular biology, HPLC and Immunology.

Preferred Qualifications:

Mouse colony maintenance and genotyping experience.
