Job Description

Position provides mental health evaluations and services in the Emergency Department of the medical center.  Provides consultative services to other Broadlawns Medical Center (BMC) departments.

Generally Saturdays-Sundays, Days/Evenings (24 hours/week)

Qualifications

Licensed as a Social Worker (LMSW or LISW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Or current RN license recognized by the State of Iowa Board of Nursing. Knowledge in crisis intervention techniques and brief therapy. Ability to work cooperatively with the multi-disciplinary team. Clinical experience in evaluation, assessment and multi-axial diagnoses of adolescents and adults in various stages of development cycle. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
