Logistics Warehouse Manager Needed Full Time Position Available New Era Custom Design and Cabinet Works Inc, is one of Maryland’s leading architectural millwork subcontractors. We service the DC, VA, and MD regions since 1979 and have been expanding our company. Our projects are award winning quality, with timely delivery to local and nation wide jobsites. New Era is headquartered in Frederick, MD with easy access to major interstates highways. Summary of Position: New Era is seeking an individual with logistics background to help streamline our Shipping Department. We are looking for someone who can see shipping trends over time, properly load delivery trucks, and develop real world strategies for shipping and delivering furniture to our jobsites on time. This will be a leadership role in our growing company with supply chain integration change. We are looking to develop our supply chain to be more cost effective through business processes and collaboration with our Senior Level Managers/Executive. Candidates must be highly motivative with experience and interest in logistics, deliveries, and lean processes for our growing company.

Job Description: Minimum 2 – 3 years experience; Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain or Related Field helpful; but not needed. Manager that oversees delivery drivers Manages delivery drawings, delivery logs, material storage, and material staging Supports Projects as new developments occur Provides additional infrastructure as needed to support deliveries Supports and analyzes capacity planning to ensure transportation is effective to and from jobsites Ability to track and log in material deliveries Identifies distribution related risks and develop mitigating plans and continuous improvement Provides cross functional support for our internal manufacturing plan, supply chain functions, and material management Additional training on product lines will be provided What we are looking for: Team players Ability to learn our product lines.
