The SEO Manager-Asian Market is part of the Global Search Marketing team at Aromatic Resource Management Company dba Young Living Essential Oils.  This position focuses on the online performance of Young Living properties in Asia.  This includes interaction with our international marketing managers and their teams on a weekly basis, with the intention of collaborating on-site changes, receiving local information pertinent to online performance, and implementing content or site changes for each market. Markets included in this interaction, but not limited to, are: Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

In addition to continuous communication with said markets, SEO Managers are required to constantly monitor search engine website rankings for Young Living, Young Living competitors, and all other competing results.  The SEO Manager must document rank changes and evaluate site analytics to develop ongoing strategies based on rankings & site movement. Based on the results, the SEO Manager must be able to make strategic decisions based on historical trends, forecasted results, and in-market knowledge.  This should lead to strategies for website meta data, HTML markup, content creation or revision, resolution of site errors, and more.  The SEO Manager will also track reputation management results for each country and implement the necessary tactics as previously outlined. 

Essential Functions

Monitoring & Tracking Results: Utilize paid & free tools to monitor search engine result pages (SERPs), Young Living keyword rankings, competitor rankings, traffic, user website interaction, and site errors. Track results and turn the data into actionable work items. Develop monthly strategies based on analytics. Use results & data to suggest strategies to international markets and internal U.S. teams.  Monitor reputation management of Young Living across Google, Bing & Baidu search engines. Track reputation management related results and changes in order to create a monthly strategy.

Drive Strategy & Deliver Results: Develop and implement rankings strategies for Young Living reputation management and Young Living web properties.  Gather feedback from International markets for continuous growth. Manage interactions with marketing teams and reputation management council. Develop link building strategies in response to current positions. Schedule, create, and implement website optimizations weekly. Coordinate with other SEO Managers for testing, implementing and trends.

Reporting and Communication: Audit link building and optimization results to ensure intended results.  Evaluate and correct any third-party links. Create an international reputation management report to be shared with key stakeholders (Director’s, Vice Presidents, and Executives). Create an international SEO report to be shared with International markets and General Managers. Maintain all reports monthly, sharing successes, concerns, and overall results.

Research & Data Analysis: Utilize paid and free tools to research positive, neutral, and negative reputation management search engine results. Utilize paid and free tools to analyze ranking opportunities, content strategies, and competitor performance. Analyze Google Analytics and Google Search Console for trends and opportunities.  Compile data into actionable data sheets for monthly tracking and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Familiarity with the Asian market
2. Experience with Google Analytics
3. Experience with Google and Baidu search engines display organic results
4. Experience with basic website optimizations
5. Experience with digital marketing
6. Experience using the Google Keyword Planner
7. Experience with SEMRush or related research tools such as SpyFu, AHREFS, Screaming Frog, or Moz
8. Experience assisting with the performance of a company blog
