Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as the Recovery Specialist Supervisor in the Holyoke Transitional Support Services (TSS) program at Behavioral Health Network!

**NOTICE**

In accordance with the BHN Mandatory COVID vaccine policy - all staff, interns, temps, residents and contractors are required to be fully vaccinated no later than day one of employment. Medical or religious exemptions will be offered and must be approved prior to starting work.

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Holyoke TSS program with the following:

  • Supporting the growth, independence, and safety of the individuals served.
  • Providing support and guidance as a role model to others, as needed.
  • Directly train new Recovery Specialist’s in their position.
  • Providing direct supervision to Recovery Specialist staff at Holyoke TSS.
  • Managing the Medication Room & providing training to Recovery Specialist staff about proper practices.
  • Providing crisis intervention and emergency services, as needed.
  • Assisting in staff selection, resolving personnel issues, and scheduling and coaching/counseling of employees.
  • Facilitating the development and implementation of educational programs, as needed.
  • Conducting routine facility checks to report any program-specific safety and maintenance concerns.
  • Completing program specific forms, documentation, and progress notes in the Electronic Health Record in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Completing individually assigned responsibilities, such as room checks, house laundry, kitchen duties, etc.
  • Collaborating with the Program Director and Clinical Supervisor of the Holyoke TSS program on program specific issues or needs.
  • Participating in on-call rotation with program management.

TSS offers an individualized, holistic approach to recovery through integrative treatment planning, substance use counseling, vocational services, mental health and medical related goals, outcomes, and interventions.

What are we looking for in the Recovery Specialist Supervisor?

  • Commitment to client empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration (required).
  • Ability to understand, empathize, and work with an addicted population, including those with co-occurring disorders.
  • At least one year of experience in substance abuse treatment environment (required).
  • At least two years of supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Understanding of Medication management in an RRS program, following BSAS regulations.
  • CNA, LADC II or LADC III (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Assistants) or equivalent (preferred).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Abuse regulations (required).
  • Proficient use of the EMR system, word processing and email system.
  • Valid driver’s license (required).
