Codes Enforcement Officer:

The Town of Hamilton is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Codes and Zoning Enforcement Officer. Responsible for building inspections and enforcement activities related to the NYS Building Code as well as the local Zoning Law for all properties outside of the Villages of Hamilton and Earlville.

The ideal candidate should possess an Associate’s Degree with specialization in civil engineering, construction technology or related field, or equivalent building experience. Possession of Code Enforcement Officer Certification from NYS is required.

Position is 32 hours per week with additional hours as needed. Salary commensurate with experience. Includes health benefits and NYS Retirement.
