Job Summary | The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Utah seeks qualified, boarded Advance Practice Providers to join our growing practice. As the only academic medical center in the Intermountain West, we perform the entire gamut of cardiothoracic surgery (nearly 1000 cases/year) including a large program in advanced heart failure, mechanical support, and thoracic transplantation. Our Division is team-focused and is a central training hub for Thoracic Surgery residents and PAs for the region. Work Environment and Level of Frequency that may be required: Nearly Continuously: Office environment. Often: Infectious disease, oils (there is air or skin exposure to oils or other cutting fluids), hazards (includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, or exposure to chemicals).
