Client Services Assistant

The Press Democrat, a division of Sonoma Media Investments is seeking a Client Services Assistant to join our sales team.

Description:

This position will focus on processing all ad related material from concept to the actual advertising campaign.

This position is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts and should build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.

This position is responsible for:

• Ensuring that all levels of client contracts are met.
• Providing excellent customer service and follow through to maintain existing and new business.
• Opening new accounts, processing contracts, and ensuring that clients are billed correctly.
• Adhering to credit policies/procedures, including, but not limited to the collection of client funds for to campaign run for all cash with copy customers.
• Processing all advertising insertion orders, ad material, and securing correct proof under tight deadlines.
• Adhere to all company deadlines for contract and order processing.
• Understanding and administering rates and policies.
• Effectively managing the results of client's campaign, making adjustments as needed, always focusing on the best results for clients in conjunction with the Account Executives.

Qualifications and Benefits:

• Bachelor's degree preferred Newspaper and/or digital industry knowledge, local market and competitive multimedia knowledge
• Strong operational and customer service background required
