Job Summary: The IMT Training Registrar will be the primary point of contact for the coordination of Epic training and other technologically-based education, for all Upstate employees, visiting student nurses, and other visiting healthcare professionals. The incumbent will coordinate the registration process for classes by working with the IMT Training Team to establish times and locations, track class rosters, communicate with the Epic Security team based on end-user role, resolve scheduling conflicts, maintain record keeping, and compile training statistics. Additional responsibilities are aligned with IMT administrative assistant tasks which are to answer phones, maintain office equipment/schedule repairs; schedule meetings/interviews, take meeting minutes, manage travel reservations for trainers; order supplies and other administrative duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree preferably in Education, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Business, Finance, or an Allied Health Profession and minimum of 2 years experience working in a healthcare, academic, or business setting. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Must be able to work with a diverse population of people, and have exceptional communication skills to collaborate with leadership, multiple departments, and external customers. The incumbent must be highly organized and be able to quickly adapt to change. Attention to detail is also necessary. Ability to perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percent, and/or ratios; write documents following prescribed formats, and/or present information to others; and understand multi-step written and oral instructions. Must have strong computer operation/skills to utilize computer programs (e.g. Microsoft Office suite). Must be self-directed.
