Job Summary: Serves as full-time Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider to provide care to patients requiring Inpatient Psychiatric Services. Provides Psychiatric care to patients on the Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatric Unit and Child and Adolescent Inpatient Consult Service. Responsibilities include providing expert level clinical care and coordination of care via a full range of services that will improve quality of patient care delivered. Observes and evaluates patients, orders appropriate laboratory testing and diagnostic studies, arranges for referrals, testing, consultation, and therapeutic services, and maintains outstanding relationships with families, referring physicians and all members of the health care team. Expected to see 4-6 patient per day. Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed/registered NP (Master's Degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and current National Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner required). Must have NPI number and be Medicare Enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN). Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

NYS licensed/registered NP. Master's Degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and current National Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner required. Experience with Pediatric Psychiatry preferred. Inpatient Psychiatric experience preferred.

Monday thru Fridays Days
